Employment history

Sept 2010 – to date, Qingdao University

Teacher

I am currently employed by Qingdao University, where I mainly teach two courses: “Marketing Fundamentals” and “Business Communications”. I teach marketing to third year students in class sizes of around 30 and I teach business communications to second year students in class sizes of 30-60.

Both these courses required me to create a teaching syllabus and examination procedure independently

I also teach oral English classes to first and second year students at the university.

On Saturdays I also teach young learners, aged from 10-12, where the class sizes range from 4-6 students. I teach from New Concept English (books 1 & 2)

Assistant Accountant

I was employed as an assistant accountant for a firm of solicitors based in Central London throughout the duration of my higher education. I worked within a team of accountants, co-ordinating with solicitors and clients on a daily basis whilst maintaining a computerised accounts system.

July 2003 – June 2004, Rudland & Stubbs Restaurant.

Bar Manager

Prior to university I worked at a busy central London restaurant where I managed the bar. Duties included bartending, managing the inventory, cashing the tills and purchasing drinks from the suppliers.
