My name is Dmitrij Solanič and I am looking for a full-time English teaching job in Chengdu, China.
I have been teaching English to Chinese pupils of ages 5 to 15 for two years part-time, back when I was in Chengdu as a student. In my classes, I used to put focus on communication, because I think that in their regular curriculums at school Chinese students often lack opportunities to develop their speaking skills.
As a sinology student and have a deep interest in Chinese culture. Having finished all the courses in my MA programme by the end of June, I once again wish to return to Chengdu, this time not as a Chinese language student, but as an English language teacher.
I am married. My wife, who also speaks Chinese, is looking for a full-time English teaching job as well. We are planning to stay in China for at least two to three years.
I hold a TEFL certificate.
